Job Description-
This position is responsible for the maintenance & optimization of existing database to ensure optimal performance.
Performance tuning and optimization of slow running MSSQL Server.
Ability to find out root cause analysis (RCA).
Good experience in Database backup and restore strategies.
Able to support 24*7 if needed.
DBA will recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.
The Database Administrator will contribute to the application architecture through development of database architectures, data storage strategies, and performance.
Manage database scheduling, archiving and storage, system monitoring, log management and QA database restores.

* Good experience on Microsoft SQL Server 2012 - 2005 (RDBMS)
* Good knowledge of Database Performance Tuning , management & maintenance.
* Good knowledge of Database Security.
* Good experience in Database development tools.
* Good Knowledge of Replication, Log-shipping and Mirroring.
* Understanding of key database development skills; such as job scheduling, SQL programming, and the development lifecycle.
* Excellent Problem Solving skills
