Principle Purpose of Job:
To perform a variety of functions related to the management of the discovery process, including executing first-pass review (The review and analysis of legal and non-legal documents for U.S. litigation matters). Our Attorneys will also assist with the management of client databases.
Main Accountabilities:
Reviewing the documents on the Clients database.
Assisting the Client Attorney(s) in indentifying important case materials.
Receiving the communication related to the documents to be reviewed.
Ensure work product quality
Construct and execute searches for relevant material in client databases
Work with team to ensure necessary steps are taken to review all the legal documents.
Occasionally interact / communicate with client through telephone.
Essential Eligibility Criteria:
Fresh Law Graduates with Law degree (L.L.B.).
Must be computer savvy and proficient in the usage of MS Office Suite.
Required behaviours/Competencies:
Should be clear with the concepts of Law.
Strong Analytical skills
Must have a positive and constructive manner and should be solutions focused.
Detail Oriented
Able to understand, summarize, and organize large amounts of information
Must be enthusiastic, determined to succeed & should show 100% commitment.
Should deliver to deadlines & follow - up on commitments.
Should be able to prioritize a high volume and broad scope of tasks.
Must be able to work accurately under pressure.
Should consider work from customers perspective to ensure customers needs are met.
Must be able to provide a consistent, professional approach to all work ensuring complete client trust
Must have strong and effective communication skills and be able to deliver a clear message.
Must have strong verbal and written English language skills.
Must have strong detail orientation & analytical skills
